Specialist material suppliers launch new-look
PI-KEM, specialist suppliers of advanced materials and equipment for innovative research, has launched its new-look at its annual Summer BBQ.
The event also celebrated the appointments of Geoffrey Handley-Harrison, business development manager for battery research, Tom Pickford, business development manager for photonics & optoelectronics, and Heather Wiggins, compliance administrator.
The new brand development plan comes after the company took on-board creative minds from creative communications agency Alive, based in Burton-on-Trent.
The new branding, implemented company-wide, synchronises with PI-KEM 's vision to be the got-to partner for the disruptors and decision-makers at the forefront of scientific research and innovation.
The Tamworth-based company has 25 years ' experience in supplying and custom manufactures to exact specifications.
It sources niche products including speciality inorganic chemicals and advanced ceramics to help take customer ideas from lab-scale to production.
Speaking at the event, Colin Rouse, managing director at PI-KEM spoke about the company 's history and how the business has got to where it is today.
He ended his speech with a toast to PI-KEM 's future and said: “We 'll create our exciting future by being forward-facing and ever-evolving.
“Reacting positively to the constantly changing landscape to help fulfil our customers ' needs; remaining true to our core; and having an exceptional, knowledgeable team. We are the catalysts for the future, the smallest actions can create the biggest reactions - We are PI-KEM! ”
