Sports Academy reaches out for community support
A community sports academy has garnered support from prominent figures in the business community thanks to support from Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
With the help of the Asian Business Chambers of Commerce president, Omar Rashid, and GBCC relationship manager Jayne Hume, the Birmingham Youth Sports Academy (BYSA) have linked with individuals, such as McDonald's franchisee Doug Wright, Awan Marketing's Nasir Awan, Big Johns' Barbar Siddique, the FA's Dal Dorroch, Birmingham City managing director Ian Dutton, Aston Villa Foundation boss Guy Rippon and West Midlands mayor Andy Street.
This has allowed BYSA to get the support from local businesses in order to continue their journey of delivering multi sports sessions, mentoring, tutoring, their centre of excellence programme, trips, their advice centre on further education and employment opportunities.
The BYSA relies on donations, fundraising events and support from the authorities to have a sustainable income on a monthly or yearly basis, to continue to help the youth and communities to strive high and achieve their goals and dreams.
The BYSA would like to reach out to more businesses and individuals to get involved in a worthy cause that is delivering exceptional work for the last 21 years, visit HERE for more information.
The BYSA aim to tap into company's Company Social Responsibility (CSR) whom need to get involved in a project in Birmingham that changes the lives of young people and have already done so to thousands over the last 21 years.
They welcome on board anyone and everyone, no matter small or large input the BYSA say they appreciate it all as it goes to the cause that is 100 per cent a community base project that needs help and support with funding, resources and networking together.
