Stadium receives five star rating
The Pirelli Stadium has received the highest five-star rating after the latest food hygiene inspection by East Staffordshire Borough Council.
The home of Burton Albion Football Club is a popular venue for conferences, weddings, wakes, Christmas parties and events as well as match-day hospitality.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is a local authority and Food Standards Agency initiative.
The scheme provides consumers with information about hygiene standards in food premises at the time they are inspected by local authority food safety officers to check compliance with legal requirements.
Restaurants, takeaways, cafes, sandwich shops, pubs, hotels, supermarkets and other retail food outlets are all inspected and rated.
Carley Evans, conference and events manager, said: “We are not only committed to creating a great food experience here at the Pirelli Stadium but also put health and hygiene as our top priority.
“Our aim is always to provide the safest environment for both our customers and staff.
“And visitors know that we set the highest standards which is what makes the Pirelli Stadium the go-to-place for conferences, events and celebrations. ”
