Staffordshire IRONMAN 70.3 rescheduled
A hugely popular triathlon challenge has been rescheduled.
Organisers of the IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire triathlon have confirmed this year's event will now take place on 18 July.
An ironman 70.3 triathlon, known as a half-ironman, is a series of long-distance races, including a 1.2 mile swim, a 56 mile bike ride and a 13 mile run.
The endurance challenge was due to take place in June.
In a statement, organisers said that they will be "better positioned" to host the event in July, due to Covid restrictions.
They also said that it will be developing and refining operational plans in a manner consistent with local community objectives and within public health guidelines.
