Staffordshire MPs to be quizzed by firms at Chamber event
MPs from across Staffordshire will be meeting businesses, discussing regeneration projects taking place across the county, during a Chamber-hosted webinar.
The virtual event will take place on 16 July, from 10am, and will include talks from education secretary, and MP for South Staffordshire, Gavin Williamson and Amanda Milling, chairman of the Conservative party.
Mr Williamson, a Conservative MP, has previously served as Secretary of State for Defence and chief whip during his tenure as an MP.
Before his political career, he was managing director of Aynsley China and as a manager for Elgin and Hall.
He has served as Education Secretary since 2019.
Born in Burton, Ms Milling (pictured) was elected as MP for Cannock Chase in 2015, following a career in market research.
She has previously served on the government's Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, and was appointed in 2019 as deputy chief whip and Treasurer of the Household in Johnson's government.
The pair will be quizzed by businesses during the event hosted by Cannock Chase Chamber, which is free to attend for members and non-members.
