Staffordshire SMEs eligible for training funding

New grants of up to £5,000 are now open for applications from eligible Lichfield businesses.

Where previously grants were offered at a 48 per cent rate, SME 's can now apply to have 100 per centof the training costs covered.

While the bulk of the funding is available to Lichfield, those based in South Staffordshire, East Staffordshire, Tamworth & Cannock still have 100 per cent grants available.

Funding is allocated on a first come first served basis, with applications covering a wide variety of training needs being considered for the grant.

To qualify, businesses must be classed as SME 's, have been trading for more than 6 months and training must be paid for by 31/03/2022*.
