Staffordshire virtual jobs fair taking place this week

A virtual jobs fair looking to help job seekers in Staffordshire is taking place tomorrow.

Businesses and public sector organisations are being encouraged to post their job vacancies from 11am on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn using the hashtags #StokeStaffsJobsFair and #Openforwork.

The event is being co-hosted by the Department for Work and Pensions and People Plus.

This inaugural jobs fair will focus on promoting job opportunities, training and associated help, advice and support to encourage local people into the construction and health and care sectors as the main growth sectors in our area.

Businesses and organisations in construction and health and care, and training providers will post their job opportunities online, anticipated to be seen by thousands of potential applicants.

The event will also feature live Q&A sessions on CVs and interviews.
