Malmaison in Birmingham is one of three hotels in the national chain to launch a Starbucks.

The coffee giant has also opened stores at Malmaisons in Manchester and Newcastle.

It builds upon the success of the exiting Starbucks location at Malmaison York.

Craig Robson (pictured), director of food & beverage at Malmaison, said: "Malmaison is known for creating vibrant destinations where guests can eat, drink, work, stay and socialise. Collaborating with partners that share our vision is an important part of what we do, and Starbucks is a natural fit.

“This brand partnership brings Starbucks premium Arabica coffee and hand-crafted beverages into our hotels, creating welcoming environments for both guests and local communities.

“Following the success of Starbucks at Malmaison York, we're delighted to expand the partnership to more of our hotels. Great coffee and great spaces help bring people together, creating hubs for connection, collaboration and everyday socialising."

Matt Shield, director of store development UK, Starbucks UK said: "We're delighted to have opened three new Starbucks coffeehouses within Malmaison hotels in Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle.

“As we continue to grow across the UK, we're focused on bringing the Starbucks experience to customers in convenient and welcoming locations.

“Our partnership with Malmaison allows us to reach guests and local communities in vibrant city destinations, and we're excited to build on the success of our relationship."
