McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands has announced the return of their popular Student Event as they invite both students and staff from across the region to take advantage of a whole host of exclusive offers across much-loved designer brands.

On Thursday, 5 October, guests will be offered additional savings on their shop, beyond the already up to 60% off outlet prices.

This will include up to 20% off top bands including Adidas, Boss, Champion, Calvin Klein, Coach, Molton Brown, Ted Baker, and many more. Lacoste and Kate Spade are going one step further with discounts, offering an additional 30% off the usual outlet prices.

Running all day from 10am - 9pm, there will be live entertainment and giveaways for guests to enjoy.

Students can try their hand at spin the wheel to be in with a chance of winning prizes from their favourite brands, while Smoothies Plus will be offering boozy smoothies to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.

To take part in the exclusive event, students are invited to head down to the Guest Services along with their NUS card to sign up to the MG Club and pick up a wristband to unlock incredible savings across womenswear, menswear and F&B.

Staff who work in further or higher education are also eligible for discount at the event; all they have to do is either present their staff card or university or college email address, sign up to the MG Club and pick up their exclusive wristband to get involved.

David Jackson, centre manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands, said: “Following the success of the event last year, we wanted to bring it back to create a moment for the student community to get together and enjoy a day out at the Centre.

“We are also delighted to extend the weekend’s activities to all staff working in sixth form, college and university in the area. We have incredible discounts across our brands and are looking forward to welcoming everyone next week.”

The Centre is located 30 minutes from Birmingham City Centre via train. Students should travel to Cannock Station and then walk 5 minutes to the Outlet.  Alternatively, the X51 bus from the city stops directly outside the Centre.
