Bristnall Hall Academy students are celebrating their academic achievements at the annual Pride of Bristnall Academy awards evening next month.

The awards formally recognise and celebrate the contribution of students to academy life and those who have made a difference in their local community.

Students are nominated in specific subject areas and for embodying the academy 's values.

The awards evening is available for sponsorship from local businesses.

Taking place for the first time in two years, it will be hosted at Bristnall Hall on Tuesday 12 July, 6:45pm-9pm.

Mr Kully Uppal, principal of Bristnall Academy, said: “Despite the difficult circumstances we all have faced over recent years, all stakeholders at Bristnall Hall Academy have strived to ensure that the learning continues and that all students make progress.

“The return of this prestigious and acclaimed event will allow us to formally celebrate the achievements of all. Most importantly, this occasion will allow us to celebrate together as a community, something we have dearly missed. ”

Students, parents, staff, governors and members of the local community will attend the event.

Winners of the 'Most Inspirational Student of the Year ', the Governors ' Award and the Principal 's Award will have their names engraved on the oak boards in the upper school hall, creating a physical reminder of accomplishments for years to come.
