SUEZ secures top accreditation for wasterwater sampling

A Birmingham-based waste management company has received the UK accreditation Service (UKAS) ISO 17025 certification for its wastewater sampling - meeting the same strict quality requirements usually applied to laboratories.

SUEZ, which provides waste management and environmental services across the UK, secured the accreditation following an assessment of its wastewater sampling process.

Many businesses rely on accurate water samples for compliance and reporting. Until this new accreditation came into effect accreditation only covered laboratory testing, not the sample collection itself.

With the new accreditation, customers can trust the entire process, from taking samples to analysing them, is independently checked and reliable.

This step also allows SUEZ to offer water sampling services for regulatory purposes, where accuracy is crucial to meet permit requirements.

Paul Pickard, SUEZ site sampling and analysis manager, said: “We’re proud to have earned ISO 17025 accreditation for our wastewater sampling services.

“It’s a real testament to the high standards we maintain and the thorough approach our team takes.

“This accreditation gives our customers confidence that every SUEZ sampling survey delivers reliable, high-quality results they can trust.”
