Sutton Coldfield networking event unites education and business

Education, community and business leaders shared an evening of celebration and connection when they attended an Arthur Terry Learning Partnership event.

Members of ATLP’s Partner Programme met at Sutton Coldfield’s Moor Hall Hotel & Spa for a networking event, which also included colleagues from ATLP’s senior leadership team.

The Partner Programme brings together students, parents, businesses and alumni, with the aim of enhancing education throughout ATLP and providing networking opportunities for local businesspeople.

The event celebrated the excellent work going on across schools, along with the success of the Partner Programme to date, which has provided valuable opportunities to all students.

Programme manager, Brian Davies, thanked partners for their support, and their contributions towards key ATLP initiatives, such as the Children’s University progamme, Year 6 France trip and Children’s Awards Ceremony.

Mr Davies said: “What another wonderful event celebrating our fantastic partnership! It was great to welcome partners and ATLP colleagues to Moor Hall for such a lovely evening and I thank everybody for their continued support.

“Through the Partner Programme we are able to build meaningful relationships between schools and businesses. Everybody in the programme has a shared commitment to shaping lives and transforming the futures of our children and young people.

“By working together we can make a real difference to the lives of those around us. Thanks to the support of our partners, the children in our schools can access more enrichment opportunities and experiences, which enable them to flourish. I am proud to be working with a group of like-minded individuals who put children at the heart of all they do.

“We have an exciting programme planned for the year ahead and we look forward to welcoming partners to these events.”

The ATLP Partner Programme Business Lunch takes place on 14 November at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa.

This event features Matt Murray – former Wolves and England U-21 goalkeeper, now Sky Sports presenter, match reporter, and football agent – as the special guest speaker.
