Swof Media director joins Midland Mencap’s board of trustees
Swof Media's client relationships director, Chester Boothe, has joined Midland Mencap's board of trustees.
Chester is client relationships director at the Birmingham-based digital marketing agency and has more than 30 years' experience delivering business solutions across a range of sectors.
His role focuses on business development, account management and building long-term client partnerships.
He has worked closely with Midland Mencap since 2025, helping the charity strengthen its recruitment strategy and develop a new careers platform.
Midland Mencap campaigns for accessible and inclusive services and a better quality of life for people with learning disabilities and additional needs.
Employing more than 400 people, the charity provides a range of housing and care services, including individual tenancies for around 120 people.
The appointment, which is a voluntary role, comes as Midland Mencap continues to modernise its operations and strengthen engagement with employees, service users and stakeholders.
Chester Boothe said: “Having worked closely with Midland Mencap on its digital transformation and recruitment strategy, I have a genuine understanding of both its mission and the strategic challenges it faces as it scales.
“I want to bring a commercially minded, external perspective to the board - supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring Midland Mencap's ambitions are matched by the operational capability to deliver them.”
CEO of Midland Mencap, Dave Rogers, said: “Chester's expertise and insight will be a valuable addition to our board, helping to guide Midland Mencap through the next phase of its strategic development and growth.”
