Tamworth agency optimistic about future prosperity for the town
Tamworth-based marketing agency EBY has invested in new staff and become a Staffordshire Ambassador after securing several new clients during the pandemic.
The dramatic shift in the way business has been over the past 18 months has seen demand for its digital services increase by more than 30 per cent.
Gavin Young, director and co-owner of EBY said: “Adaptability, for our business and for many others in the Staffordshire region, has been critical to surviving the many challenges and changes caused by the pandemic.
“The impact of digital uptake has been much deeper than anyone predicted. We have seen many brands take the decision to transform their businesses during the pandemic and for many that has been the key to survival.
“They have had to switch the way they do business and research by McKinsey indicates that many of these changes are likely to stay, ” he explains.
New clients include one of the UK 's largest public sector suppliers YPO, as well as a global pharmaceutical company, a leading regional dental practice, a film production company, a global engineering company, and a Midlands-based global trade association.
The company is not only a Staffordshire Ambassador, but it also represents the region in the 1813 Club of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce. Mark McDonagh, business development director who chairs the Birmingham Publicity Association said:
“With continued investment in the regeneration of Tamworth, Staffordshire and the Midlands, the ability to reach new markets and do business online will remain vital for the region 's ambitious companies as they look to compete on the world stage. We are very proud to be an Ambassador for Staffordshire at such a transformative time. ”
