Tamworth firm joins forces with leading manufacturer

Tamworth-based scientific equipment suppliers PI-KEM have been appointed official UK and European distributors for leading manufacturer Novamet Specialty Products.

Novamet, manufacturer of engineered metal powders, focuses primarily on nickel-based formulations and offers a range of standard and custom formulated materials.

The company's expertise spans a wide range of metals and customer-specific formulations, and covers a variety of scientific and industrial applications.

Representatives from Novamet Specialty Products Corporation, Jeffrey Peterson and Dr John Johnson, recently visited PI-KEM’s UK headquarters to meet and discuss how the two companies could work more closely together.

The collaboration represents significant opportunities for both companies, particularly with the expansion of Novamet's products and its subsidiary Ultra Fine Specialty Products, manufacturers of specialty powders for additive manufacturing.

The Novamet product range is an important addition to the PI-KEM and PI-KEM Hart range, complementing its already broad product portfolio and designed to support innovative research and production through the sourcing and supply of specialist materials and equipment.

PI-KEM managing director Colin Rouse said: “PI-KEM is excited to reach out to customers in the UK and Europe with the Novamet range, where our team of experts will offer products and support to suit all budgets and project needs.”
