Tamworth tech firm undergoes rebrand

MT Services Computer Systems Ltd, the Tamworth-based technology partner to businesses across the Midlands, has rebranded as MTS Technology.

The company's roots go back to 1973, when it was founded as Midland Typewriter Services, supplying and maintaining typewriters for local offices.

As business technology moved from typewriters to personal computers, then to networks, email and cloud services, the company moved with it, becoming MT Services Computer Systems Ltd in the 1990s.

The rebrand represents the company’s first since it became MT Services in the 1990s.

The business provides managed IT support, cyber security, cloud solutions and business continuity services to organisations across the Midlands and beyond.

Neil Norton, director at MTS Technology, said: “As we enter the next chapter of our history under the MTS Technology brand, we remain proud of where we came from.

“Our new identity reflects the modern technology services we provide whilst celebrating more than five decades of expertise, innovation and customer care.”
