Team Rightio takes on Snowdon to break the silence on mental health
Rightio, a leading property maintenance company, geared up recently for a remarkable journey up Mount Snowdon, not merely to conquer its peaks, but to honour the memory of their beloved colleague and friend, Scott Taylor.
Beginning over two years ago, Team Rightio have been supporting Samaritans, a charity dedicated to breaking the silence surrounding mental health struggles and prevent suicide.
Conor Crutchley, web developer at Rightio, said: “When we did the climb back in 2022, it was so great seeing everyone coming together for a good cause. It was difficult at times, but we were well prepared and the views at the top were worth it.
“We managed to raise so much for the Samaritans that day, with our friends and family showing their support and donating to a good cause.
“Overall, it was a truly great experience, which is why I'm doing it again in a couple of weeks. Please give what you can to support those who are braving the climb and donate to a truly good cause.”
Every ten seconds, Samaritans responds to a call for help, offering vital support to those in need. With an average of 115 lives lost to suicide in the UK every week, the importance of Samaritans' work cannot be overstated. Therefore in 2022, the Rightio team raised £3,000 for the cause.
As Team Rightio embarked on the demanding journey with unpredictable weather, and a total of 23,000-27,000 steps, they also invite you to help support their efforts by donating to Samaritans.
