Companies from beyond the West Midlands are taking advantage of the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce’s connections in North America.

The latest is London-headquartered Ten10, a leading provider of tech talent, quality engineering and automation consulting services.

The firm has become a member of the Transatlantic Chamber as part of its goal to help organisations around the world bring new talent to their tech teams.

Charles Hunter (pictured), vice-president, business development, North America, at Ten10, said: “We're delighted to join the Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce and take an important step in helping organisations around the world bring promising new talent into their tech teams.

“We believe that talent is everywhere and we're excited at the opportunity to help businesses in North America grow their teams and bring new solutions to life.”

Among Ten10’s reasons for joining the Chamber is support with a planned expansion into North Carolina.

The Chamber has prior experience of helping firms with their US expansion plans – having signposted the likes of hot-holding experts Flexeserve to key connections and support.

Sian Timmins, head of international divisions at Greater Birmingham chambers of Commerce, of which the Transatlantic Chamber is part, said: “Ten10 are the latest company who want to take advantage of the Transatlantic Chamber’s strong network and connections.

“With seven US states having now signed MoUs with the UK government, we look forward to utilising our strong relationships with the U.S. Embassy in London and the BritishAmerican Business Network  to help our members grow their presence in North America.”
