Tech firm showcases positive impact on digital healthcare
The positive impact a Greater Birmingham tech firm is having on the digital healthcare sector was showcased to representatives from the Department for Business and Trade.
FICODE Technologies Limited, led by CEO Gurmeet Singla, had the opportunity to present to a delegation from the DBT and Asian Development Bank.
Gurmeet - a Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce committee member - outlined the future of digital health and how digital transformation can improve manage patient care, positively scale up the health sector and support collection of data for decision making, as well as track and monitor progress.
FICODE has delivered a number of successful outcomes for clients in the health sector, including:
- Building AI-powered apps such as real-time computer vision to detect the status of medical devices accurately and a Virtual Surgical Planning Tool.
- Supporting in design, development and architecture of a smart and intelligent buildings and theatres platform. This platform made it easier for users to connect directly to the systems that control and monitor their environments to optimising energy and saving CO2 by utilising simple open protocol communications.
