Technology firm in the running for national business award

A Solihull-based technology business is celebrating after being shortlisted for a 2022 National Business Award alongside some of the country 's fastest-growing firms.

Wise, founded in December 2019, has been listed in the 'Best New Business ' category following tremendous growth which has seen the scale-up business go from twelve employees to over sixty in two and a half years.

The finalists for this year 's UK Business Awards were announced live online on Friday 29 April, with internationally-renowned businesses such as DHL, Tata Communications and CitySprint up for different awards at the ceremony on Thursday 7 July.

Based at Radcliffe House in the heart of Solihull, Wise has partnered with free regional skills bootcamp, School of Code, to create a true talent pathway for the next generation of diverse technology talent within the West Midlands. This partnership has seen eleven School of Code graduates join the business in a variety of roles covering design, software development and even project management.
