The Belfry's Haunted Woodlands returns for October half term
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is bringing back its Haunted Woodlands experience for October half term, running from Friday 16 October to Sunday 1 November, following its launch in 2025.
The immersive Halloween trail transforms the resort’s Woodland Adventures area, with interactive characters, challenges and photo opportunities aimed at families.
At its centre is a storyline involving Professor Frank N Stein, whose Party Potion is missing its final ingredient - families work through the woodlands meeting characters including Winfred the Worst Witch and the Grave Digger, who set challenges and reveal clues along the way.
Haunted Woodlands is free for hotel guests, with tickets for non-residents priced at £7.50 per person, available in hourly slots.
The attraction runs from 8am until dusk, with live characters appearing daily between 2pm and 8pm.
For those staying over half term, The Belfry is offering three nights for the price of two from £499 per room, or dinner, bed and breakfast packages from £299 per room for the whole family.
The resort's family bedrooms are located together, with interconnecting rooms available for families wanting extra space, and a two-bedroom Brabazon House Suite overlooking the Brabazon golf course.
Families can also use The Club, the resort's leisure centre, which includes a swimming pool, flume and sprinklers for children alongside a 25-metre lap pool, sauna, steam room and bubble pools for adults.
Other half-term activities include go-karting, badminton, table tennis and shuffleboard, along with free scavenger hunts, football, basketball and racket sports.
The Toptracer driving range is free for children playing with a paying adult.
Dining options include The Ryder Restaurant, which offers a dedicated children's buffet, while indoor activities such as a games room, console gaming, a colouring station and a Movie Room are also available across the resort.
