Theatre announces pantomime headline sponsor

The Lichfield Garrick has partnered with Friel Homes as its headline sponsor for this year 's pantomime.

The family run housebuilders, based in Walsall, will be providing essential support to the much-loved pantomime, which this year is family favourite fable Snow White.

Every year, the pantomime attracts over 30,000 audience members, and this year, the production will star Lichfield legend Sam Rabone and sees the return of Maria Conneely and George Akid, with more cast announcements coming soon.

Matt Clay, the Lichfield Garrick 's interim executive manager, said: “We are over the moon to be welcoming Friel Homes as our headline sponsor for Snow White. Our pantomime is a positive and lively event in the heart of the city, and we can 't wait to involve Friel Homes in the fun. Sponsorship is such an important part of our fundraising, and it is a privilege to be supported by such an incredible local business. ”

Clare Lynch, sustainability manager at Friel Homes said: “As a local housebuilder, we are delighted to be able to support enterprises and charities in our community. We know that the Lichfield Garrick is a fantastic asset to our city, so we are thrilled to be supporting the 2022 pantomime. The panto is a festive favourite for many local people, and we look forward to working with the wonderful team at the Garrick on this year 's exciting event! ”

The Garrick is also looking for sponsors to support its Family Ticket scheme. Since 2017, over 150 families have attended its pantomime thanks to the generosity of local businesses.

Without this support, these families would not have enjoyed the much-needed escape and magic of the pantomime at Christmas.
