Thermal systems manufacturer gives glowing testimonial on Chamber courses

Chamber member and supplier of cooling, heating and air conditioning products, Grayson Thermal Systems, have been upskilling their staff in recent months through the help of courses provided by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC).

Grayson Thermal Systems design, manufacture, and supply driveline cooling, heating, and air conditioning products to low volume vehicle industries worldwide, including bus, coach, rail, off-highway, commercial vehicles and more.

A proud UK manufacturer, they work in partnership with their customers and develop innovative ways to improve vehicle performance and reliability.

Alongside several of Grayson Thermal System 's team members, central stores and logistics manager, Ricky Niner (pictured) also worked towards receiving his foundation award in international trade, a nationally recognised qualification equivalent to an NVQ.

On completion of the courses, Ricky explained how his learning will help him in his role going forward.

Ricky said: “The course was informative and executed well. The literature was easy to follow and will be a great reference point for the future as we transition to the new rules.

“It was useful to help me understand export and export documentation, customs processes, and Incoterms. I had no previous experience in this area so I found it interesting along with the other members of the team that participated.

“I would recommend the courses to anyone who is or maybe looking at training with regards to import/export. These were my first remote learning experience and I was surprised just how well the courses flowed and how knowledgeable the trainer was.

“I would be interested in continuing my learning in other areas should the chamber offer them. ”
