Thousands raised by DNS staff in fundraising challenge
Staff at Chamber patron Document Network Services (DNS) have raised more than £3,000 by running, walking and cycling a whopping 2,500km.
The DNS Team have been pushing themselves to the limit to complete the challenge in April as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations and to raise money for the me&dee charity.
The challenge came to an end by sales manager, Hugh Sutherland and managed services consultant, Elliot Minns, drawing lots of attention to themselves by running around Pride Park dressed as Hope, me&dee 's mascot.
Me&dee charity was formed in 2006 and is a completely self-funding charity and depend solely on donations so that they can help families that have life changing and uncertain futures create special memories.
DNS have been avid supporters of me&dee charity for many years.
Maria and Mark Hanson, founders of me&dee, said: “We are absolutely blown away by the incredible support, along with DNS 's friendship and care. DNS are incredible memory makers making a difference for families facing short and uncertain futures. ”
“They are absolutely amazing people and have given a fantastic donation which enables our families to make some wonderful memories and create big smiles. ”
