Thrill seekers in Birmingham invited for charity abseil

A charity is inviting thrill seekers to abseil down the 40-metre façade of No 3 Brindley Place, Birmingham.

Little Hearts Matter, a UK-based charity dedicated to supporting children born with single ventricle heart conditions and their families is organising the abseil to support affected families.

It will happen on Saturday, 13 September from 9 am to 5 pm. No prior abseiling experience is needed.

Safety will be ensured by a professional abseiling team from Redpoint.

Katie Banks, fundraising manager for Little Hearts Matter said: “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a lasting impact.

“Every pound raised goes directly to supporting families and children facing the challenges of single ventricle heart conditions.”

The registration fee is £30 with a minimum sponsorship target set at £150.
