Top entrepreneurs to explore branding and resilience at ABCC Eid celebration
A panel of inspiring entrepreneurs from the Asian business community will explore the power of resilience and the challenges behind creating a brand at the upcoming Eid Business Event.
The event, organised by the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Tuesday, 10 June from 6pm onwards at the National Conference Centre.
Speakers include Yousif Aslam, co-founder and managing director of Heavenly Desserts, Saima Duhare from It’s Halal, and Allia Khan (pictured), founder of Mansion 28.
It will be hosted by Omar Rashi, honorary chair of the ABCC.
Heavenly Desserts is one of the UK’s leading premium dessert brands with an expanding international footprint.
Over the past 18 years, Yousif Aslam has helped scale the business from a single store into a globally recognised franchise with over 60 locations across the UK, Canada, Pakistan and soon in India, and Germany.
Known for balancing strategic leadership with operational discipline, Yousif has played a pivotal role in building the systems, culture, and growth model that underpin the brand’s success.
Yousif also leads YSF Advisory - a specialist consultancy supporting businesses at critical inflection points.
Saima Duhare launched Halal Fresh with a vision to bring healthy, nutritious halal meal kits to her community. But she was legally pursued by HelloFresh, leading to a 2.5-year legal battle that she ultimately lost on paper.
Using her experience, she later found It’s Halal - a platform dedicated to clean, tayyab eating, rooted in Islamic principles and community care.
In response to rising rates of cardiovascular disease and diabetes in the Muslim community, she has also launched a dedicated Diabetes-Friendly Meal Kit, helping individuals eat consciously while still enjoying delicious, halal food.
Allia Khan is a dynamic legal professional and entrepreneur with a proven track record of leadership in the in-house legal sector.
Beyond her legal expertise, Allia is the founder of Mansion 28, a luxury fashion brand that redefines boldness and elegance through its striking collections.
With Mansion 28, Allia is empowering women to make an impact, blending timeless designs with modern confidence.
She is also a Krav Maga instructor and is a lead member of Woman in Wheels - the first all ladies luxury car club in the UK.
The event attracts a wide range of businesses from across the region and provides an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and meet potential suppliers and customers, raise the business profile, develop existing business relationships and share ideas and experiences.
Speaking about the event, ABCC director Anjum Khan said: “Resilience and building a strong brand are at the heart of any successful business.
“This event will highlight how to start developing these traits through a panel of seasoned entrepreneurs who have gone over and above - they represent a powerful voice within the Asian Business community.
“It’s an event that you don’t want to miss!”
This is a free to attend event for members of the ABCC where a maximum of two delegates is allowed per company.
Tickets cost £30 plus VAT for members of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and £15 plus VAT for members of the Future Faces Chamber of Commerce.
