Touchwood announces date for festive Christmas light switch-on
On Saturday 25 November, join Touchwood for the launch of its Christmas festivities, hosted by Phil Oldershaw and with a special guest appearance from local musical artist Bellah Mae.
From 12:30pm until 5pm, guests at the switch-on will be able to enjoy a variety of performances from the Snowman and the Snowdog, as well as the arrival of Bjorn the polar bear and the launch of Santa’s grotto.
The day’s celebrations will also include the Touchwood Christmas light switch-on, taking place between 4.15pm – 4.30pm, and will see Bellah Mae officially kick off Christmas at the Solihull-based shopping centre.
Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, said this about the launch: “The 25th November marks a huge day in the Touchwood calendar. We are extremely excited to be celebrating the launch of Christmas with an afternoon of performances, and welcoming both Bjorn and Santa Claus back to the centre. It’s going to be an afternoon to remember!”
