In celebration of the Queen 's Platinum Jubilee, Touchwood is inviting visitors to join in with a Bank Holiday weekend full of fun, from Thursday 2- Sunday 5 June.

The celebrations get underway on Thursday with a teddy bear 's picnic, complete with visits from Paddington Bear himself. Face painters and jugglers will also be entertaining the little ones throughout the day.

The entertainment continues on Friday with free pottery painting from Fired Crafts, stilt walkers and Teresa Farrell singing Great British classics. Saturday sees the Mini Marching Band, in collaboration with Music Monsters, march through Touchwood after a free musical workshop. There will also be entertainment from roller-skaters and the Boogaloo Babes singing their renditions of classic tunes from the 30s-60s.

Sunday brings Touchwood 's Queen 's Platinum Jubilee celebrations to a close with live magic from the Magician to the Monarch and the 'Roaming Britannia ' stilt walkers to finish with a bang.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “We are so excited to bring the Queen 's Platinum Jubilee celebrations to Touchwood. With jugglers, stilt walkers, roller-skaters, singers and much more, it is set to be a spectacular show for the whole family to enjoy and we hope to see visitors from across Solihull and beyond. ”

Following the Jubilee weekend, the celebrations will continue as the Birmingham 2022 Queen 's Baton Relay passes through Touchwood on Tuesday 28 June - one of many stops on its final journey through England this summer.
