Touchwood’s free urban beach is returning to Theatre Square this summer with a packed line-up of summer sessions and entertainment.

The beach will be open from Saturday 18 July until Monday 31 August and will offer families a free, device-free place to spend a day digging and building sandcastles, with entertainment on the main stage.

From bubble performers and princess pop shows to drama workshops, arts and crafts sessions and children’s DJ parties, there will be something for children of all ages.

Louise Woodward, marketing and events manager, at Touchwood Solihull said: “With Touchwood’sSummer Sessions, we want to create a summer filled with free family fun.

“With the cost of living continuing to be a challenge for many, it’s important to me that we support local families and help them make the most of the school holidays without the extra cost.

“Alongside our free Urban Beach, which is open every day throughout the summer, we’ve put together an exciting programme of entertainment, from giant bubble shows and children’s author visits to pop princess tribute performances. There’s something for all families to enjoy.”
