Future Faces members Conor McDonagh and Ed Dempsey have recently been appointed as Treasurers for the Birmingham Trainee Solicitors Society (BTSS).

Ed is currently acting as a Legal Assistant in Freeths LLP’s Birmingham Construction team, while Conor is a trainee solicitor in the Corporate area of the firm.

The Birmingham Trainee Solicitors Society is an organisation made up of over 300 trainee solicitors, paralegals, newly qualified solicitors and post-graduate law students from across Birmingham and the West Midlands. Originally an off shoot of the Birmingham Law Society, the BTSS has been operating for 173 years.

Speaking about their appointments as co-treasures for the BTSS, Conor said: "We're optimistic about the positive impact we will have on the Birmingham Trainee Solicitor Society. Our dedication to the legal profession and grasp of financial matters have equipped us well for guiding the society’s financial decisions."
