Birmingham-based training company OTD is investing in its project management expertise to support the delivery of complex training programmes for customers in the UK and internationally.

Alex Eaton has been promoted to the newly created role of head of project management.

He will lead OTD’s project management function, working closely with account managers to oversee programme delivery while continuing to take a hands-on role in project management.

Becky Hammond has also been appointed senior project manager, bringing additional expertise to OTD’s established team.

Alex joined OTD in April 2025, having previously held a senior project management role at learning and communications agency media zoo, where he led programmes for a leading financial services firm.

His background also includes delivering high-value projects for FTSE 100 clients across cyber security, SaaS, life sciences, financial services and insurance.

Becky brings more than 12 years’ project management experience, including responsibility for global blue-chip customers at e-learning specialist BYG Systems.

She has managed end-to-end projects across a range of sectors, including financial services, construction, life sciences and FMCG.

Her expertise also spans interactive e-learning solutions, such as digital publications, simulation learning and gamification.

Becky Crotty, OTD managing director, said: “Project management is central to how we deliver our programmes, particularly when we're working with customers across multiple markets.

As the scope and complexity of our projects continue to increase, investing in the right expertise is important to maintaining the level of service our customers expect.

“Alex's promotion recognises the contribution he has made since joining OTD, while Becky's experience will be a valuable asset to the team.

“Together, these appointments will help us maintain a consistent standard of delivery and provide the support our customers need throughout their programmes.”

OTD has an overall customer satisfaction score of 95 per cent and almost 20 years' experience delivering coaching and training programmes for organisations across multiple sectors. Many of its programmes are City & Guilds Assured.

The company supports complex international initiatives, including multi-million-pound product launches and global rollouts, particularly in the life sciences sector.
