Future Faces Chamber of Commerce has revealed the latest category sponsor for the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards 2025.

Executive coaching specialists GuruYou will be sponsoring the Training & Education category of the awards.

Founded by coaching expert Rebecca Mander (pictured), GuruYou provides executive coaching and leadership skills for the professional services sector. The coaching experts are also a previous winner of the Training and Education category at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards 2024.

A long-time supporter of Future Faces, Rebecca Mander and the team at GuruYou have provided invaluable knowledge and skills to Future Faces members, including the three-part Bounce Mindset programme earlier this year.

Speaking about sponsoring the awards, Rebecca said: “I am so delighted to be supporting the GBYPY Awards 2025. Our city is full of incredibly skilled professionals but often this emerging talent can be overlooked in favour perhaps of more seasoned individuals.

“Birmingham is blessed with a bright future thanks to the young people I see in our organisations and I cannot wait to celebrate the incredible finalists on this very special 25th year of Birmingham Young Person of the Year Awards. GuruYou are passionate about training and education and so it was only fitting that we should sponsor this award.

“It is wonderful that Future Faces are once again bringing the best of Birmingham talent together to celebrate the contributions our young people are making on their organisations and communities.”

Sophie Poduval-Morrell, manager of Future Faces, said: "Rebecca's Bounce Mindset mini-series has been transformative for myself personally as well as our members.

“Rebecca has a real skill for helping people thrive using skills and talents they didn't know they had. It's only fitting that they sponsor the Training and Education category this year after the impact it has had on so many of our members over the last two years."

Taking place at the ICC Birmingham on Friday 17 October, the awards will celebrate the talent and successes of young professionals across Greater Birmingham.

This year also marks 25 years of BYPY, the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards, dating back to when the awards were first launched under the BPS Network, which later merged with Birmingham Future to create the Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year Awards.
