Transatlantic business leader recognised in honours list  

Duncan Edwards, the CEO of transatlantic trade body BritishAmerican Business, has been recognised with an OBE in the King’s New Year’s Honours List.

The honour is for his contribution to strengthening the economic ties between the US and the UK.

BritishAmerican Business the London and New York arm of the British-American Business Network, of which the Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber is also part.

Duncan (pictured) said: “I am extremely honoured to be named an Officer of the British Empire.

“This recognition is also a testament to the incredible work that the whole team at BAB carries out day in and day out.

“We are dedicated to creating an environment that advances transatlantic trade and this recognition reinforces the importance of our mission.

“My thanks to everyone at BAB and each and every one of our members.”
