Transatlantic Chamber to unveil new committee at AGM

Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce will announce its new committee members at the forthcoming annual general meeting (AGM).

And the region 's top transatlantic trade body is inviting applications to join the committee now.

The AGM takes place at the new Birmingham office of law firm Browne Jacobson on Tuesday 8 November.

The Transatlantic Chamber will confirm the new committee members who will support president James Tait (pictured) and vice-president Eileen Schofield over the next 12 months.

Business figures from the region who are involved or interested in transatlantic trade can register their interest now.

Successful applicants will play a key role in encouraging trade between Greater Birmingham and North America.

Chris McFarlane Baxter, head of international divisions at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in formulating the strategy, events programme and future activities for the Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce. ”
