Birmingham travel operator Travel Club Elite has won a top honour at the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (ATAS) Recognition Awards during their annual conference in Silverstone.

The agency was named the national Online/Call Centre Touring & Adventure Agency of the Year, making 2026 as the 9th consecutive year they have been honoured at the annual awards.

The ATAS Recognition Awards scheme honours travel agents who have showcased touring and adventure holidays in the most innovative or successful ways.

ATAS director Claire Brighton said: “We had a record number of nominations this year and it has been so difficult to select the winners because the standards were so high.”

Travel Club Elite’s sales manager, Zoe Franklin, said: “We’re so thrilled to have this acknowledgement of our success in providing the widest range of touring & adventure holidays.

“Travel Club Elite staff have become the ‘go-to’ experts for touring holidays and our sales this year for this sector in the current year are up by 49%, with an astonishing 70 per cent repeat booking rate.

“As well as detailed advice & help with booking, customers are reassured by our 40-year ABTA membership & 5-star Excellent TrustPilot Reviews. Also, the fact that our colleagues have visited so many countries enables first-hand guidance & tips.

“Touring and adventure holidays are booming in the UK because they sit at the intersection of several powerful consumer trends: people increasingly want experiences rather than just relaxation, they value authenticity and local culture, and they are seeking active, purposeful travel that offers memorable stories and personal achievement.”
