The Prince Albert Community Trust is looking for professionals - preferably with some governance experience - to help drive their schools forward.

The Trust is on the lookout for local academy representatives to represent schools and play an active role in their governance.

This includes attending meetings throughout the academic year, having direct contact with the head of school and making valuable contributions to the PACT learning community.

If you are interested in becoming an academy representative, visit the Vacancies section on the Trust 's website here for more information.

CEO Sajid Gulzar (pictured) said: “Effective local academy governance is essential for a school. A high-quality combination of support and appropriate challenge enables school leaders to think broadly about what constitutes great strategic leadership.

“We feel that members of the local business community possess many of the required skills to become valued members of the academy support teams. ”
