Turkish Airlines tee off as headline sponsors for The Belfry’s Classic Golf Day

Turkish Airlines has been announced as the headline sponsors of The Belfry Hotel & Resort ‘s Classic Golf Day.

The event is making its return to the resort’s world-famous Brabazon course on Thursday 21 May.

Flying to more countries than any other carrier, Turkish Airlines operates double daily flights from Birmingham Airport, offering seamless connections worldwide via its Istanbul hub.

The award-winning airline connects the Midlands to over 350 destinations across six continents. 

Turkish Airlines’ general manager for Birmingham Gurhan Sozen said: “We are delighted to be the headline sponsor of this year’s Belfry Classic Golf Day and to further strengthen our long-standing partnership with The Belfry.

Raising over £100,000 for charity on its debut last year, the Belfry Classic will bring together VIPs and celebrities from the world of sport and television to play in a four-ball formation.

Sports presenter and broadcaster, Dan Walker, will be returning as host for this year’s tournament, and guest chef John Williams, from The Ritz London, will be bringing his gastronomic flair to the day’s hospitality offering.

Alongside the action on the course, the event will also include live entertainment, drinks receptions, a gala dinner, a live auction, and after party.
