Two weeks to go: Packed speaker line-up for Chamber’s Business Growth Studio Conference
With just two weeks until Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce’s Business Growth Studio Conference, organisers have confirmed a packed speaker line-up as more than 120 business leaders and entrepreneurs prepare to gather in the city.
Taking place on Tuesday 13 October at IET Birmingham: Austin Court, the conference runs from 8.45am to 2.15pm and combines keynote speeches, expert panels and interactive workshops covering global trade, AI, digital transformation, sustainability, labour trends and cybersecurity.
Headlining the keynote sessions is Mikey Singh (pictured), chief executive of Soho Tavern Group, alongside Shevaun Haviland CBE, director general of the British Chambers of Commerce.
They will be joined by Laura Baxter MBE, chief executive of Special Olympics Great Britain, and Daniel Mills, also of Special Olympics Great Britain.
A panel discussion will feature Uko Umotong, co-founder of UB Healthcare, and Martin Ward of Silicon Square Consulting, with organisers confirming further panellists are still to be announced.
The conference's workshop programme brings together Bill Welch, senior innovation and growth specialist at Innovate UK Business Growth; Fran Nolan, managing director of Tribera; Jason Sahota, who chair several businesses including TechWM, and Sara Blair-Manning, chief executive of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
The day will close with a session on turning learning into action, led by Stuart Bailey of Curium Solutions, who specialises in cultural transformation and leadership development.
The conference forms part of the Chamber's wider Business Growth Studio initiative, which supports SMEs through digital resources, workshops, peer support and networking opportunities throughout the year.
