UK-US accountancy firm promotes senior tax manager

DY USA has announced the promotion of Laura Welding to senior tax manager.

Laura (pictured) has progressed through the firm since joining in 2017 and has contributed to the success of the Personal Tax Services area of the business across its UK and US offices.

In her new role, Laura will oversee and support the development of the Personal Tax Services team as well as contribute to ongoing process improvements and systems development.

"Laura's promotion reflects her technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to developing others," said Ian Brander, partner in Charge, Personal Tax Services.

"She has made a significant contribution to our clients and our team, and we are delighted to formally recognize her contributions with this promotion as she takes on this new role.”

Laura is a fully qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an Enrolled Agent in the US.
