United By 2022 opens volunteer recruitment for major summer sporting events

United By 2022 is starting the new year in style, with recruitment now open for a range of exciting volunteer opportunities at two of the UK’s biggest sporting events in 2026.

Volunteer driver applications are now live for the Lexus Birmingham Open, offering a unique chance to support world-class tennis and work at the heart of the tournament. In addition, volunteers are being sought for a wide variety of roles at the European Athletics Championships this summer, one of Europe’s premier sporting showcases.

From sport and hospitality to logistics, technology and spectator services, these roles offer volunteers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills and be part of the action at truly world-class events.
