University launches open days for early year education degrees
The University of Wales Trinity Saint David Birmingham campus, based in the centre of Birmingham, has launched several open days for their early years education and care degree programme.
The open days start from Wednesday, 7 June from 6pm to 7.30 and will end on 12 July.
The early years BA Degree Courses have been made taking flexibility to account to fit around the students work and lifestyle.
Students enrolling in this degree would be able to gain a degree within two years by studying one evening per week with the occasional Saturday. The degree is also aligned with ECSDN graduate practitioner competencies.
The open days will be held both on campus and online.
Speaking about degree, second year student Caitlin Montgomery said: "The opportunity to complete a degree that has the Early Years Practitioner Status element, has enabled me to experience different settings and understand how to provide high quality provision as a practitioner in the early years.
"This experience has allowed me to be a part of the community, and as an individual to gain confidence and skills in my role when working with children. In addition, it has also helped me to put everything I have learnt in lectures and assignments into practice.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed all my placements and I am very excited to see what my future career holds."
