University makes senior appointments
Aston University has announced the appointments of Dalia Dasgupta as chief people officer and Louise Parr-Morley as chief financial officer.
These key strategic roles will play a central role as members of the executive team in the development and implementation of the University 's new 2030 strategy under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor & Chief Executive Professor Aleks Subic.
Dalia Dasgupta joins Aston University from University of East London. She has held previously senior leadership positions including at Queen Mary University of London, SOAS, Cass Business School, University of Greenwich and The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Louise Parr-Morley held previously senior leadership positions at University of Winchester, University of Plymouth, Queen Mary University London, Birmingham City University, Middlesex University and Coventry University. She also brings with her wider commercial acumen gained outside the higher education sector from her roles with BBC Worldwide, Pearson and BAE systems, amongst others.

Professor Aleks Subic said: “Dalia is a highly successful HR executive in the higher education sector. She has significant experience in the design and delivery of organisational strategies centred on people and organisational learning, and a strong track record of managing transformational change.
“Louise is a highly experienced CFO in both the UK business and higher education sectors, having spent her career working across large commercial organisations and several UK universities where her work led to lasting improvements.
“I am very pleased to welcome them both to the executive team at Aston University and look forward to the diversity and fresh outlook they will bring to the University and the wider community as we progress with the development of our new 2030 strategy ”.
