UWTSD Birmingham have announced they will host an Employment Conference on Thursday 9 March, at Quay Place, Edward Street, Birmingham B1 2RA.

The event draws together local, regional, and national businesses for students to learn about career pathways and development opportunities from speakers and exhibitors.

Academic Dean, John Deane (pictured), said: “I am delighted to be welcoming students and businesses to our employment event here in the heart of the city and look forward to developing lasting mutually beneficial partnerships with key employer stakeholders.

“The event will provide an exciting opportunity for students to meet with employers, learn about opportunities, and discuss career development options on the day. ”

University of Wales Trinity St David, Birmingham is an institute of inner-city learning with a growing community of nearly 1800 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The majority of students live in the West Midlands and are adult learners studying health and social care, business and leadership management, or cloud computing.

They serve a unique and growing student populace, with 45 per cent of students from an ethnic minority background and 61 per cent over the age of 30. This diversity encourages development of new ideas and new perspectives.
