University to launch next cohort of management course

Aston University will be launching their tenth cohort of the Help to Grow: Management Course on Tuesday 18 April. The course is hybrid, so will be held both online and in person at the triple accredited Aston Business School.

The course will help attendees to build a community of like-minded business leaders, while focusing on improving their resilience and potential for growth.

Help to Grow: Management is a government-funded* 12-week leadership course delivered by Aston University, a world-class international Business School.

Four out of 12 modules are scheduled to be delivered face-to-face with the remaining 8 provided online, designed to allow attendees to complete the course alongside running their business.

The course is 90 per cent funded by the government*, businesses pay just £750 per participant. Eligibility criteria applies.

To be eligible for the programme, interested persons must:

  • Be a Small or Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) based in the United Kingdom
  • Be from any industry sector, employing between five and 249 people
  • Have been operational for at least one year
  • Be a decision-maker or member of the senior management team within the business, such as chief executive, finance director, operations director etc.
  • If your business employs between ten and 249 people, you can send up to two participants on the course.

Speaking on a previous session of the course, Nilesh Chohan, managing director at Instinct Hardware, said: “This course broke strategy into 12 separate modules and gave us time to target each facet of growth individually, making implementation of the learning much easier and more manageable. ”
