Venue announced for Staffordshire Gateway Growth Panel report launch
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) has announced The Hub at St Mary’s as the host venue for the Staffordshire Gateway Growth Panel report launch.
The creative community space will host business leaders and key stakeholders of Staffordshire on Friday, 27 March from 9 to 11 am.
The event is an in-depth, business-led exploration of the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of South and East Staffordshire.
Developed in partnership with the GBCC and divisional Chambers in Lichfield & Tamworth, Burton & District, and Cannock Chase, the panel brings together expertise from across the local business community to identify the key enablers needed to unlock sustainable economic growth.
The report examines how the move towards a new Strategic Authority could best support business, drawing on business roundtables, surveying, interviews, and learning from existing devolved authorities.
Speaker and panellists for the event will be announced soon.
Speaking about the report launch, GBCC senior policy Dr Ruth Fleet, said: “We are excited to share the Staffordshire Gateway Growth Panel report with our members and other businesses across the region.
“This report has drawn evidence from a huge range of stakeholders and, as a result, the recommendations it makes are rooted in the expertise of the business community of South and East Staffordshire, reflecting their needs and the opportunities they see for long-term growth.”
