Studio Forty Six, a video production company, had talented students Noah and Ivor from Kings Norton Girls School and Sixth Form join them for their work experience recently.

The students spent a week at the studio, working on a project to create a 30-second commercial for a product of their choice.

This offered an opportunity for the students to develop their skills in video planning, filming, and editing and to gain a better understanding of the process as a whole.

Noah and Ivor worked with dedication and passion throughout the week, and they decided to make their video on Oreo cereal. They showcased their impressive creativity and talent in executing their project, and the team at Studio Forty Six were really impressed with the quality of work they produced.

Noah said: "I didn 't actually think we 'd get the chance to film and edit our own thing. It 's made me a lot more confident in going into this genre of production. ”

Ivor also expressed his appreciation for the experience. "I kind of just thought we 'd just be making teas and coffees," he said. "Coming here and actually being able to experience what it 's like, has seriously got me interested in a future in this line of work.

Reiss said: "We were impressed with the professionalism and creativity of Noah and Ivor. They took on the challenge, letting nothing hold them back and the end result was far better than we expected. ”

The project was documented in a short video that showcases the process the students followed in creating their video. The video is available to watch on the Studio Forty Six social media channels, including the 30 second commercial made by Noah and Ivor.

Studio Forty Six say they are committed to supporting the growth and development of young talent in the media industry, and this work experience offered a valuable opportunity for these students to gain practical experience and hone their skills in a real-world setting.
