A new Chamber survey is seeking views on returning to business and the changing structure of the workplace.

As the pandemic continues to impact the day-to-day operations of businesses across the UK, local Chambers of Commerce have created a range of resources to help address key business concerns, and lobbied stakeholders for vital business support.

Since March 2020, thousands of businesses across the UK have contributed to local and national Chamber of Commerce business surveys.

The results of these form one of the most important data sets in the UK and are shared directly with the highest levels of Government.

They have played a crucial role in supporting the introduction and extension of key business support schemes.

This latest survey from the British Chambers of Commerce seeks your views on the process of reopening and returning to work, the changing structure of the workplace and whether firms are facing skills shortages.

Insights from the survey will be shared across UK government to create better business policy.

Emily Stubbs (pictured), policy and project manager at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “The coronavirus crisis has fundamentally changed the ways in which we live and work, and as the economy reopens, its not going to look the same as it did pre-pandemic.

We need your views to help policy makers understand recent changes to your workforce and your workplace, and the challenges you are facing. If you can spare 6 minutes, your response to the survey would be hugely appreciated. ”
