Views sought on international trade challenges
Businesses who trade internationally are being asked to share their views on key challenges they are facing in a new Chamber survey.
The British Chambers of Commerce have launched their annual International Trade Survey, running until 5 August.
With present political uncertainties in mind, the survey looks at some of the top challenges currently facing Chamber members: Inflation, supply chain disruption, trade with Europe, international trade support and technology & productivity.
The results of the survey will be shared anonymously and directly with UK government ministers and officials, ensuring that any new administration is fully aware of the challenges and opportunities facing businesses around the UK.
Beth Clewes (pictured), insight and intelligence services manager at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “This survey is a brilliant opportunity for any businesses trading internationally to have their say on the issues that matter most to them right now.
“The International Trade Survey is now a staple in the British Chambers of Commerce 's annual research cycle, with the results feeding into policymaking and the Bank of England at a national level.
“With enough responses we will also be able to publish the data at a regional level, which will give us at GBCC a strong foundation from which to take further action at a local level and on behalf of our members. ”
