Village Hotel hosts Solihull Expo 2023
Solihull Chamber of Commerce held their annual Solihull Expo yesterday, hosted by the Village Hotel.
The expo was very well attended, with 32 stands exhibiting and promoting their businesses and 220 delegates.
The day also included an economic update seminar, with guest speakers from Birmingham Airport, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, HS2 and Touchwood Solihull sharing their insights from a retail and hospitality focus.
Jackie Lee, delegate from the Wilkes Partnership, said: “The seminar was excellent and the economic outlook and opportunities in the area are looking really positive. Thank you to everyone involved in the seminar, and the expo as a whole of course! ”
The expo also hosted a seminar on the use of video, led by Reiss from Studio Forty Six and Gwyneth from Tantamount. They provided practical video techniques and storytelling frameworks and demystified the art of telling engaging video stories.
Jess Mason-Rawle, director of Sales at Village Hotel, said: “It was a pleasure hosting the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Expo event today!
“It was great to showcase the venue to so many amazing businesses and had a great turn out for the exhibitors, the events are so important to building relationships and getting to know new and existing businesses! Looking forward to hosting the next Expo! ”
Speaking on the success of the expo, Samantha Frampton, head of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce, said: “What a fantastic day! Seeing all the amazing Solihull businesses come together under one roof, interacting and promoting their services to all the delegates who have taken the time to come along and support everyone.
“Today would not have been a success without the support of my Patrons and members. I would also like to extend a huge thank you to our host venue, Village Hotel, and all of my guest speakers. ”
