War in Ukraine: What happened this week?
The UK stepped up its support for Ukraine this week as the conflict with Russia continued.
A further package of support towards the investigation against war crimes in Ukraine and more weapons were pledged by the UK government.

Monday 6 June
Prime Minister Boris Johnson speaks with President Zelenskyy, reiterating the UK 's support for Ukraine and highlighting future support and actions.
Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab unveils a second package of support for the International Criminal Court 's investigation into alleged war crimes in Ukraine, including a specialist legal and police team.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace announces that the UK will give multiple-launch rocket systems to Ukraine to help the country defend itself, as well as M31A1 munitions at scale.
Tuesday 7 June
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss tells Cabinet that the UK Government is preparing further sanctions against Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
Turkey 's Defence Minister shares that the country is working closely with Russia and Ukraine to agree a UN-driven plan that would restart grain exports from Ukrainian ports via a safe shipping corridor.
Wednesday 8 June
The Institute of International Finance (IIF) warns that Russia 's economy will shrink 15 per cent by the end of the year - and a further 3 per cent in 2023 - due to Western sanctions and a collapse in exports. IIF further suggests such figures will likely be worse if Europe fully ends its use of Russian energy.
Thursday 9 June
United Nations ' Food and Agricultural Organisation warns of growing food insecurity due to rising food and fuel prices.
The warning comes after Ukraine 's Deputy Agricultural Minister says the country may have a grain storage capacity deficit of 10-15 million tonnes by the end of autumn following destruction of infrastructure in Ukraine.
Two British men who were captured by Russian forces while fighting in Ukraine are allegedly sentenced to death by a court in the separatist Donetsk People 's Republic.
